Flaxseed Chutney

Some days ago I saw in You tube that flax seeds are the most powerful seeds on the planet. It is full of nutritive value and medicinal properties. It is good for weight loss, it lowers bad cholesterol, it is high in anti-oxidant. It has estrogenic properties which is good for women etc. Finally I have come to know that flax seed is nothing but tissi which is eaten as chutney in the village of Assam especially in undivided Goalpara district without knowing its so many nutritive value.
I would like to share that recipe which can be prepared within 2 minutes.
Falx seed 25 grams, Chopped onion 1 no., Green or Red chilly 2 or 3, Salt as per required, Lemon juice, oil.
Flax seed should be roasted slightly, then  grind it. Add onion, chilly, salt, drizzle oil and lemon juice. Then garnish with Maan dhania (it is a type of Coriander). And sprinkle himalayan pink salt. You can add mustard or olive oil whatever you like or you can avoid it.
1 cup of hot cooked rice can be eaten with only 1 table spoon of flax seed chutney.

Roast flax seed

Grind coarsely

Add Himalayan pink salt

Add chopped onion

Add chopped chilli


Add maan dhania

Sprinkle some oil and mix thoroughly

Tissi or flaxseed chutney
